The Community Grants Program provides funding to local community groups and organisations to support community-building initiatives, which improve the health and well-being of the community.

The program supports the valuable work undertaken by the diverse range of not-for profit organisations and community groups in Yarra and particularly aims to increase community participation by marginalised and disadvantaged groups.

Some of the specialist skills required in this role are:

• Proficiency in administration of a grant program;
• Good administration and data management skills;
• Competency in using a grants management system (Smarty Grants);
• Competency in using systems. Records Management systems (Content Manager), Finance Systems (Tech One); and
• Knowledge of, and experience in practicing, community development principles.

We're also looking for someone with a Degree or diploma qualification in the Social Sciences or related fields or relevant experience in grant-making.
