About the role

This role sits in the Community Life Division which aims to develop healthy, active, connected and safe communities through the delivery of community facilities, events, experiences and life cycle services from birth to older age.

This position will provide strategic leadership, supervision and support to the Meals and Home Maintenance teams and other teams across the Community Care unit.

In this role you will

  • Implement Council policy, program regulations and quality standards in regard to support services
  • Coordinate the Meals and Home maintenance staff and volunteers including resourcing, supervision, program development and continuous improvement
  • Develop, promote and monitor service standards and procedures across Meals and Home Maintenance with a focus on food safety and occupational health and safety for clients, staff and volunteers

About you

  • You will have tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in aged care, disability services, social welfare, community development or other related fields.
  • You will have experience in planning, implementing and evaluating client centred programs.
  • You will thrive working in a dynamic and diverse environment and most importantly be passionate about delivering and achieving quality outcomes for Casey's community.
