Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef

Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef is hiring! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and cutting edge organisation working to create a brighter future for the Reef.

We’re searching for a highly motivated individual who wants to help us develop and grow the organisation. This new, dynamic position will provide administrative support to the CEO and broader team with a focus on fundraising, general administrative and organisational support, planning and logistics, marketing and special projects as required.

WHO WE ARE

Our mission is to protect and conserve the Great Barrier Reef, and reefs around the world.

Spearheaded by Earth Hour founder Andy Ridley, we're building a 21st century conservation organisation, bringing together world-leading research, tourism, industry, media and conservation to inspire, educate and show the world why the Reef is too precious to lose.

We’re a small and passionate team, digitally focused, agile and collaborative, who can do a whole lot with very little. We’ve developed world-class platforms like Reef Tracks and Citizens Atlas in-house, generated significant global media coverage for collaborative campaigns like #SpawningGBR and partnered with major brands like Uber and Nickelodeon.

We believe that the Great Barrier Reef should be more than a poster child for climate change, it must be the inspiration for change.
