Circle Green Community Legal (Circle Green) is a not-for-profit community legal centre providing state-wide specialist legal services in employment, workplace discrimination, residential tenancy law, family and domestic violence, and humanitarian services. We are seeking an unrestricted Lawyer to be placed in the Workplace team. Lawyers will be involved in the delivery and supervision of our employment and workplace discrimination law services including telephone advice, in-house appointments, case work, representation, community legal education and law reform.
Lawyers will work closely with the supervising lawyers and other team members delivering legal and support services to provide clients with trauma-informed, effective, and streamlined services. A client-centred approach and a commitment to ensuring high-quality services are provided to vulnerable people are essential.
The Workplace team provides legal assistance services to vulnerable and disadvantaged non-unionised WA workers on all aspects of employment and workplace discrimination law, including dismissal, wage theft, bullying, discrimination, and sexual harassment.
