About the Role

Council to Homeless Persons is seeking an experienced administration professional to join the Corporate Services team, part-time. Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, the Administration Support Officer will be responsible for maintaining efficient operations, managing multiple tasks with precision, and taking initiative to streamline processes.

Excellent interpersonal skills are a must, as the Administration Support Officer will be interacting with internal and external stakeholders daily. Proficiency in various IT systems is essential for this role. If you are organised, efficient, and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!

kEY Responsibilities

As Administration Support Officer your key responsibilities will include:

  • General administrative support
  • System management
  • Stakeholder/member engagement
  • General support
  • SHS (Specialist Homelessness Sector) learning program development and review

Selection Criteria

Qualifications

  • Satisfactory Police Check
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Relevant tertiary qualification

Experience

  • Relevant experience in an administrative role
  • Demonstrated experience in events planning and coordination
  • Strong customer service experience with a focus on responding to external individuals and organisations
  • (Desirable) Experience working in the community services sector or in a not-for-profit organisation

Capabilities

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and as collaboratively as part of a team
  • An elevated level of attention to detail
  • (Desirable) Project management skills
