Support people living on low to moderate incomes, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and those living with a disability.
The Responsive Maintenance Officer will play a pivotal role in assessing our properties, ensuring that they are safe, well maintained, and compliant with all relevant regulations and requirements.
You will focus on responsive maintenance and vacant maintenance of our properties, reporting on their findings and ensuring that the lifecycle of each component is taken into account.
Working within set timeframes and budgets will be an important aspect of this role and you will need to ensure that all works completed comply with quality assurance standards.
You will be liaising regularly with internal and external stakeholders, building and sustaining positive relationships with technical consultants and contractors, and responding to their needs in a timely manner.
From time to time you will liaise with vulnerable people who may be marginalised and/or present with difficult behaviour.
To be successful for this role, you will have a genuine passion for wanting to support vulnerable people in our community.
