We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and passionate leader to drive Aboriginal Community Housing Victoria Limited’s business growth in Victoria (Vic), building and managing partnership and stakeholder relationships throughout the state.

You will:

  • Engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, sector organisations and government agencies to support the expansion of ACHVL in Vic
  • Build and manage new and existing partnerships and stakeholder relationships that support ACHVL’s current portfolio and future growth
  • Identify and secure diverse business opportunities in Vic
  • Work with CHL and ACHL colleagues to develop workplans, project plans and procedures to support the implementation of the ACHVL Strategic Business Plan
  • Participate in the management of state and national projects and Vic operational functions

What will success look like?

You will be enthusiastic representing ACHVL’s vision and mission throughout Victoria, and have an appreciation and knowledge of the diverse contexts and communities in which ACHVL operates in.

In addition, you will have demonstrated experience developing and working with strong networks with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, individuals, government agencies and partner organisations.

You will have:

  • The ability to communicate, negotiate with and influence a range of stakeholders
  • The ability to foster strong relationships critical to ensuring ACHL’s objectives are met
  • A positive attitude towards achieving key deliverables
  • Confidence and experience in problem-solving, with the ability to remain calm in reactive situations
  • Knowledge of the sector and its working environment, required to identify various stakeholder perspectives when developing strategies, plans, and team goals
  • The ability to work independently as part of a broader team within a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to the right of all people to affordable and sustainable housing
