PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
As the Sport for Development Cluster Lead, you will manage the operations of ChildFund Australia’s portfolio of Sport for Development programs, under the guidance of the Sport for Development Program Manager. Working across countries and partners, you will be key in ensuring relationships are in place for innovation and impact across the organisation’s Sport for Development work.
KEY DUTIES
- Support the implementation of a range of Sport for Development projects across the region
- Support implementing partners to deliver on agreed projects to agreed standards across the region
- Support institutional strengthening of implementing partners
- Ensure access to timely operational information from implementing partners across the region
- Provide day to day management of project Team Leaders across the region
- Ensure consistency in programming across countries and projects
- Establish clear, transparent and consistent communications with key stakeholders in each implementing country
- Represent ChildFund in relevant national and regional meetings
- Contribute as an active member of the organisation’s Sport for Development team
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- University degree in community development, sports administration, education or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of project cycle management including budget management, systems management, monitoring and evaluation and reporting
- Cross-cultural working experience
- Track record in managing teams
- Fluency in English
