Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Manager Allied Health will work as part of the Senior Leadership Team, leading and overseeing the statewide operations of Allied Health and Practice Administration, providing direction and guidance to leaders and staff. Based in either Launceston, Hobart or Burnie, this statewide leadership role will play a pivotal role in contributing to service planning and assisting in the development and implementation of service delivery objectives that align with best practice standards within the context of allied health services.

The successful applicant will demonstrate proven senior management experience providing strategic leadership and operational planning and management of health or primary health services. Demonstrated experience in implementing and driving change, together with strong analytical skills and business acumen is essential. An ability to lead, motivate and develop teams and build positive, team oriented and client focussed organisational cultures is also required. Previous experience providing strategic advice on allied health service, governance and workforce development initiatives would be an advantage.
