The Community House Association of the Outer Eastern Suburbs Inc. (CHAOS) comprises of 30 Neighbourhood Houses and Learning Centres located within the Local Government Areas of Knox, Manningham, Maroondah, Murrindindi, Whitehorse and Yarra Ranges.
THE NETWORKer ROLE
The CHAOS Committee of Governance delegates operational matters to the CHAOS Network Manager. The Network Manager is responsible for:
- Implementing CHAOS’s strategic direction and policies
- Complying with Service Agreements within funding requirements
- Using community development principles to inform practice
- Supporting and resourcing the membership in all aspects of managing a Neighbourhood House including governance, operations, community development and capacity building
- Promoting Neighbourhood Houses and advocating on key issues
- Building and sustaining internal and external relationships appropriate to the objectives of the CHAOS network and its CHAOS member organisations
- We seek a person with experience in Community Development, Governance and or equivalent leadership experience. This is a Part Time position of 24 hours per week.
