The Opportunity

We are seeking a mature, enthusiastic, and motivated Administration Officer to join our Member Services team on a full-time basis at our Bowen Hills office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in administration and members services. The successful applicant will receive comprehensive training and gain exposure to a broad range of administrative functions within a busy and supportive office environment.

Reporting to the Office Manager, you will play an important role in supporting our members and maintaining accurate membership records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to member enquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Membership data entry and record maintenance
  • Processing membership applications and updates
  • Providing membership support and assistance
  • Merchandise sales & shop
  • General administrative and office support duties
  • Typing and preparation of correspondence as required
  • Filing and document management
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as directed

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Strong computer and typing skills with attention to detail
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Imis membership software is desirable, please indicate on your application if you have used this previously
  • A professional, friendly, and courteous manner
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
