An exciting opportunity is available to join the Centre as Manager, Foster and Kinship Care.
This role provides strategic oversight, coordination, delivery and evaluation of the Fostering Connections program, Victoria’s statewide foster carer recruitment service. Fostering Connections supports foster care agencies through a 24/7 enquiry line, website, sector engagement, campaigns, branding and data reporting to help attract and connect prospective foster carers.
The role will also strengthen the Centre’s policy, project and advocacy capability across foster and kinship care. This includes building the Centre’s authority and influence in promoting the needs of children in home-based care, kinship carers and foster carers, and supporting system improvement through stakeholder engagement, lived experience, evidence and data.
The Manager will work closely with service providers, government, peak bodies and other stakeholders, and will convene key sector networks including the Marketing and Recruitment Network, Foster Care Network and Kinship Care Network.
