About the Role

The Senior Policy Officer will work closely with their team and manager to develop policy input and advice relating to the development and implementation of a GO scheme for Australia.

We have a position available focused on supporting development and implementation of the Renewable Electricity Guarantee of Origin (REGO) certification scheme.

Duties of the role include, but not limited to:

  • Developing well-considered policy analysis, insights, and advice to support policy development and legislative drafting for the GO scheme, with a focus on renewable electricity certification.
  • Provide technical policy input and support into the development of scheme implementation products, including participant education material, regulatory tools, and development of databases. 
  • Preparing high quality written material including correspondence, briefs, and other technical information for various audiences with limited supervision.
