About the Role

This is a varied and meaningful role at the heart of CERES's Student Programs team. Reporting to the School of Nature and Climate Manager, you will be the key point of contact for schools and educators — managing the full bookings journey from first enquiry through to confirmation, while keeping records, invoicing and communications running smoothly.

Alongside bookings coordination work, you will contribute to email campaigns, website updates and basic reporting, helping to keep CERES's programs visible, accessible and well-presented to the schools and communities we serve.

This is a primarily onsite role based at CERES East Brunswick, working 30 hours across four days per week. It suits someone who is organised, people-oriented and genuinely motivated by sustainability education and positive change.

What You'll Do

Booking and Operations

  • Manage school bookings from initial enquiry through to confirmation, liaising with schools, parents and educators throughout
  • Produce invoices and track payments to ensure accurate and timely financial administration
  • Maintain up-to-date records across bookings and client interactions using Monday.com
  • Extract and compile data to support program evaluation and reporting
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the broader team

Communications

  • Prepare, schedule and monitor education EDMs using established templates and processes
  • Maintain and update education content on the CERES website for accuracy and ease of navigation
  • Support promotion of programs through digital channels and identify opportunities to grow enquiries
  • Assist with collecting and interpreting basic digital metrics to inform planning
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure communications align with CERES brand standards

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing administration, including managing bookings from enquiry to conversion
  • Clear and professional communication with schools, educators and internal stakeholders
  • Competent use of Google Suite, Excel and cloud-based platforms; experience with Monday.com and Mailchimp desirable
  • Reliable attention to detail across booking records, invoicing and correspondence
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to reprioritise across competing tasks
  • A proactive approach to improving communications and processes that enhance the customer experience
  • A relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience

Working Conditions

This role is primarily onsite at CERES East Brunswick, working indoors with some outdoor tasks and in close proximity to a busy team. Limited work from home is available outside of peak periods with manager approval.

Why CERES?

You'll be joining a passionate, purpose-driven team working at the intersection of education, community and environmental action. CERES is a place where your work genuinely contributes to a more sustainable and just world — and where no two days are quite the same.
