The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people in the southern half of the Northern Territory—an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres.
The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.

The Central Land Council's (CLC) Prescribed Body Corporates Enterprise Services Unit (PBCESU) builds upon the CLC's work to support Prescribed Body Corporates and other entities or projects established under a CLC Land Use Agreement to engage in enterprise and employment opportunities leveraged from achieving native title rights or rights generated through a land based activity. In collaboration with the PBC Support Unit and other CLC units, the PBCESU engages with PBCs and other entities or projects to understand their enterprise aspirations and build evidence on what works to connect constituents to economic opportunities.
This position is responsible for providing support to Prescribed Body Corporates and other entities or projects benefiting from a land use agreement with establishing or providing support to establish or progress enterprise activities. The position will be guided by the PBCESU's strategic plan, consistent with the CLC's Corporate Plan and Funding Body requirements.

Total effective package includes: base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, relocation assistance, annual airfare allowance and salary packaging options. Annual progression within the salary scale is subject to satisfactory performance. Progression is in accordance with annual increments set out in an enterprise agreement.
