The Carbon Disclosure Project is looking to recruit an intern to assist with our corporate engagement work in Australia, NZ and SE Asia. This is an unpaid role but has great CV value.
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is an international not-for-profit organisation that represents 655 institutional investors with assets of $78 trillion working to drive greenhouse gas emissions reduction and sustainable water use by business and cities.
We provide a transformative global system for thousands of companies and cities around the world to measure, disclose, manage and share environmental information. Over 3,700 companies disclosed climate change information through the CDP in 2011, including 73% of the ASX 100, 50% of ASX 200 companies and 42% of the NZX 50.
This post will be valuable experience for anyone seeking a career in climate change or sustainability, and is an opportunity to gain insight and skills in a broad range of areas beneficial for careers in communications, consultancy, finance and in-house corporate sustainability roles. The successful candidate will be based in our Sydney office.
This is an unpaid internship for a minimum of 15-20 hours per week, although lunch and travel expenses will be reimbursed. The intern will be based in CDP’s Sydney office in St Leonards for four months, starting as soon as possible.
