About the role

As the Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of all activities and events including, Accommodation and Transport services operating from the Rockhampton Lodge. This includes ensuring the accommodation facility is a comfortable, clean and safe environment for all clients, visitors, volunteers and employees.
This role is a Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hrs per week).

About you

Qualification/s and Experience

  • Certificate III in Business (Administration) or equivalent.
  • Experience in a supervisory role in a lodge, motel or hotel environment with the ability to multitask and experience in handling confidential information.
  • Experience or desire to lead client activities within the site.
  • Advanced knowledge of administration and office procedures including basic accounting principles as well as reservation management.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Software platforms and room management/booking systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in activities coordination in hotel, hostel or care facilities
  • Relevant experience in volunteer management in the health or community sector.

Technical Skills and Abilities

  • High level communication skills, including the ability to engage clients from diverse backgrounds in a range of cancer-related issues and concerns.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families and volunteers.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and to multi-task with a high level of time management and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to promote and work in a safe manner and adhere to CCQ’s Safety Management System requirements.
