About the team

You'll be joining a team of passionate and driven marketers who are focused on inspiring the community to support our mission to make a difference for people impacted by cancer. Reporting to the Supporter Experience Specialist, this role sits within the newly created Supporter Experience team in the Marketing & Fundraising division. The team is responsible for leading an industry first approach to supporter-centricity, creating meaningful holistic journeys for the full supporter/customer lifecycle.

About the role

The Marketing Coordinator (Supporter Experience) will support the transformation of our marketing and communication journeys, to deliver the best possible experience to all of our supporters. This innovative, new role will be responsible for building, executing, and optimising our multi-channel marketing programs to improve holistic supporter experience, and ultimately drive increased life-time value.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, build, test and execute holistic multi-channel marketing and communication journeys across the supporter lifecycle, with a focus on email and SMS.
  • Training and adoption of exciting new marketing automation platform - Marketo
  • Deliver innovative new projects to better understand the needs of our supporters to improve their experience and increase their lifetime value.
  • Design and create journey assets that are in line with the visual and verbal brand of the organisation.
  • Track journeys against agreed KPI's and make optimisation recommendations to inform strategic planning

About You

With a genuine passion and enthusiasm for CCNSW's mission, strong verbal and written communication skills will be essential, along with:

Essential:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or 2+ years' experience in marketing, communications, or fundraising
  • Demonstrated experience mapping and managing supporter journeys using marketing platforms like Campaign Monitor, Rungopher, Marketo etc. or proven ability to learn complex marketing systems quickly
  • High attention to detail with a passion for optimisation and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple program areas to build strong relationships and achieve results
  • Self-directed learner, able to quickly master new technologies and ways of working

Desirable:

  • Understanding of fundraising practices and/or the NFP sector
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Design software experience (Adobe Creative Suite and Canva)
  • Copywriting experience across a variety of channels
  • Basic Data interrogation/SQL skills
