You are someone who is seeking to embed compliance obligations within business processes such that compliance is a regular part of the way we work.

This role would be perfect for someone with excellent planning and project management skills, the confidence to work across our organisation to build strong partnering relationships, and the ability to bring new ideas to support the achievement of our objectives.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (i.e. legal, audit, compliance, business, HR) with 3 years’ relevant work experience in leading risk and compliance practices.

  • Exceptional planning skills that support an effective project management approach.
  • Proficient in working in a digital technology environment, with interest in streamlining and transforming the way compliance is embedded into business processes.
  • Strong self-motivation, organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise effectively and work independently with minimal supervision while also being a positive team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong and collaborative relationships across the organisation.
  • Experience with an INGO or other organisations where compliance obligations are set by external regulatory bodies.
  • Enthusiasm for the mission of CBM Australia and alignment/comfort with being part of a faith-based organisation.

What we offer:

  • The chance to make an impact that matters in a team of like-minded professionals.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Hybrid role with 2 days in the office.

  • 5 additional days of leave.
  • Salary packaging up to $15,900 + up to $2,650 for meals and entertainment.
  • 8 weeks paid parental leave after 12 months of service.
  • A work environment and values-driven culture that employees state in their feedback, is one of the most inclusive, caring, and enjoyable that they have ever worked in.
