At Better Health Network, we’re reshaping the future of community health across Melbourne’s south-east — and we’re looking for an exceptional leader to help drive the next chapter of our Mental Health services.
This is more than a leadership role. It’s an opportunity to influence how integrated, trauma-informed mental health care is delivered in the community, while leading passionate multidisciplinary teams committed to making a genuine difference in people’s lives.
As part of BHN’s growing leadership investment, you’ll play a key role in strengthening services, supporting workforce capability, and creating meaningful outcomes for people experiencing mental health challenges and complex psychosocial needs.
You’ll lead across a diverse and impactful portfolio including:
Working within BHN’s integrated Mental Health, AOD and Gambler’s Help services, you’ll champion recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally safe practice while supporting innovative models of care that place people at the centre.
Working closely with the Program Manager and broader leadership team, you’ll provide operational leadership, practice oversight, and team support across clinical mental health services.
You’ll foster a culture of collaboration, compassion, accountability, and excellence while ensuring services remain responsive, accessible, and focused on positive client outcomes.
You’re a confident and compassionate leader who thrives in dynamic community settings. You bring strong clinical leadership, emotional intelligence, and the ability to create environments where both staff and clients feel safe, supported, and empowered.
We offer:
Relocation support: If you have relocated permanently for work purposes you may be able to substantially increase your take-home pay by salary packaging some or all of your relocation costs.
This is a rare opportunity for a passionate mental health leader to influence service delivery, strengthen teams, and improve wellbeing outcomes across the community.
Apply now with your resume and cover letter outlining your experience and what excites you about joining BHN.
