Better Health Network (BHN) is looking for a strong and inspiring people leader to guide our Health Promotion team into its next chapter.
This is not just a role for someone with technical health promotion expertise, it’s for a leader who knows how to bring out the best in people, build accountability, strengthen culture, and create a high-performing team environment where great ideas turn into real outcomes.
You’ll lead a passionate and highly skilled team working across community health and wellbeing priorities, supporting programs that create healthier, more equitable communities across Melbourne’s south-east. The team already has strong health promotion knowledge, now we’re looking for a leader who can coach, mentor, support, and empower staff to deliver with consistency, clarity, and impact.

As Team Leader, Health Promotion, you will provide operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based health promotion initiatives aligned with BHN’s strategic priorities.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to motivate teams, improve performance, and create clarity and momentum will be highly valued.
You are an experienced and people-focused leader who knows how to build trust, support growth, and create accountability without losing empathy and connection.
