BHN provides NDIS therapeutic supports (speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology & social work/counselling) in line with participant’s approved NDIS plan and goals. A position has become available within the NDIS Adult team. A specialism in any of the following areas is desirable, Mental health, AOD, Trauma, ASD, Intellectual Disability and/or emotional regulation. The role of the therapist will be to provide assessment and specialist intervention/therapy as per the participant's and family's/carers goals.

Ideally, you will possess:

  • A professional qualification in Psychology.
  • Experience in working with adults with mental health issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver psychological assessments and provide written recommendations.
  • Excellent knowledge of social model of health.
  • A clear understanding of NDIS service delivery and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
