Better Health Network (BHN) is seeking a Family Counsellor to join our Resilient Communities program.

As part of our experienced counselling team, you will deliver timely and quality counselling services to individuals, couples, children, and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments for individuals, couples, children, and families seeking counselling services.
  • Provide centre-based counselling interventions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of therapeutic group programs.
  • Offer secondary consultation to health professionals.
  • Complete administrative duties including assessments and case notes.

Requirements and Attributes

  • Degree or Diploma in social work or related field
  • Post-graduate qualifications in counselling and/or Family Therapy
  • Minimum of two years' experience in family counselling
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to the Social Model of Health
