Better Health Network (BHN) is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Trainee Dental Assistant to join our friendly and supportive Oral Health team in South Melbourne and Prahran.

This is your chance to earn while you learn—complete your Certificate III in Dental Assisting while gaining valuable real-world experience working alongside experienced dental professionals.

You’ll get the chance to

What You’ll Be Doing

• Attend Cert III in Dental Assisting classes (fully supported by us)
• Provide chairside support to dental clinicians
• Maintain infection control and sterilisation processes
• Manage dental equipment, supplies, and assist with patient preparation
• Participate in oral health education and outreach activities
• Support the team with admin duties and daily clinic operations

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive, can-do attitude and love for working in a team
• Passion to deliver great care and customer service
• Commitment to learning and developing new skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, adaptable environment
• Basic computer skills
• Police Check, and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)

No prior dental experience needed—this is your gateway into the dental and health care industry.
