ROLE

Unique opportunity to work with this well recognised brand at exciting time of change for the team. As National Partnerships Manager, you will use your proven partnerships experience to acquire, retain and extend strategic relationships for Foodbank’s existing partners and corporate supporters, generating revenue and facilitating partner participation.

Reporting to the General Manager of Partnerships and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, this role has a strong acquisition focus whilst supporting the account management of corporate supporters and works closely with their team to transition multi-year, high value partners for activation and management. You get to work with the Marketing team to identify and leverage campaign ideas and initiatives to ensure high quality engagement and drive growth in line with the organisation’s strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and grow existing partnerships, lead stewardship and account management of current national partnerships, ensuring alignment with partner objectives, maximising mutual value.
  • Secure new partnerships: Identify, cultivate, and secure new multi-year, high-value partnerships contributing to Foodbank Australia’s strategic and revenue targets.
  • Deliver partnership activation: Support the delivery and ongoing engagement of partnerships through workplace giving, volunteering programs, sponsorship initiatives, cause-related marketing campaigns, and partner-led events.
  • Collaborate on partner communications: Work in close partnership with the Marketing & Communications Executive to ensure high-quality, consistent messaging and visibility for all partner-related communications and campaigns.
  • Support senior leadership: Provide operational and strategic support to the General Manager – National Partnerships on cross-functional initiatives and partner engagement opportunities.
  • Maintain reporting and insights: Prepare timely, accurate portfolio updates for internal reporting needs, including weekly activity updates and briefings for the Leadership Team and Board.
  • Foster internal collaboration: Build strong, collaborative relationships across Foodbank’s national and state-based Marketing and Fundraising teams to ensure cohesive fundraising activity and knowledge sharing.

YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Demonstrated success in partnerships with previous not-for-profit experience preferred
  • Proven track record in identifying, capturing, developing and retaining long term and high value strategic partnerships.
  • Builds support internally and externally to ensure buy in and ownership.
  • Able to prioritise and schedule multiple interrelated tasks & management of complex variables and issues.
  • Proven ability in managing relationships, work autonomously and be a team player.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and committed to delivering outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian corporate giving landscape.
  • Effective cross functional collaboration and project management skills
  • Highly organised, process orientated with ability to prioritise, multi-task and work in a high-velocity environment whilst reaching targets and meeting deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker, mature, with high levels of energy, initiative and enjoys public speaking and delivering presentations.
  • Strong presentation, communication and relationship management skills with ability to deliver on objectives within timeframes.
