ROLE
Unique opportunity to join this incredible team as National Partnerships Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of corporate partners nurturing mutually beneficial relationships with organisations and Foodbanks’ state members whilst providing support across the partnership’s portfolio.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a relationship fundraising professional (preferably with sound understanding of the corporate ESG space) with initiative, strong engagement, project management and administration skills with good written communication and a hunger to learn.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Account management of existing Foodbank partnerships.
- Support aspects of the partnership’s portfolio, including partner’s workplace giving, volunteering, sponsorships, partner events and working with the marketing team on cause related marketing campaigns.
- Maintain contact with existing and prospective partners, utilising Foodbank’s in-house CRM tools.
- Support Foodbank partnerships team to achieve team KPIs.
- Work closely with Foodbank Marketing & Communications Executive on all partner marketing and communication needs.
- Support the General Manager - National Partnerships as required.
- Provide portfolio updates for all reporting requirements (weekly updates, Leadership Team and Board updates).
- Establish and maintain good relationships with wider Foodbank Marketing & Fundraising Teams (within Foodbank State and Territory locations).
- Contribute, along with other staff members, to the smooth running of the office by answering phones, maintaining contacts in Salesforce, assisting with basic office administration etc.
YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant practical experience in fundraising in the for-purpose sector.
- Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships, internally externally to ensure support and engagement.
- Able to prioritise multiple, interrelated tasks including management of complex variables.
- Strong and effective written and verbal communication expertise.
- Able to work autonomously and be a team player.
- Demonstrates can-do positive attitude, with initiative, enthusiasm and commitment to work.
- Strong planning and organisation skills.
- Proactive and supportive team player - committed - and puts the common team goal and organisational goals before individual goals.
- Experience in, and enjoyment of, public speaking and delivering presentations.
- Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
Desirable:
- Salesforce, WordPress and Canva proficiency
- Understanding of food industry beneficial (but not essential).
