You get the opportunity to be part of the development and delivery of peer-to-peer & event fundraising campaigns, working hand-in-hand with their highly skilled digital team, creative department, and Account Directors. With knowledge of best tools and strategies, you will be rolling out multi-channel digital campaigns, so experience in communications development and social media marketing will be a huge plus. We are looking for someone with an energetic personality and an ability to build great relationships with charity clients!
Key responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of clients’ fundraising and marketing plans
- Consultation with manager to develop and implement overarching client fundraising and marketing plans
- Regular communication, liaison, and reporting with clients at a senior level
- Work across various channels including email, SMS, social media, search, display, YouTube, websites, print and mail
- Pitch fresh and innovative ideas to manager
- Develop and complete projects to a schedule and within an agreed budget
- Use your knowledge and skills to develop clients, the team and the agency in the most productive direction
- Ensure that your own and the agency’s activities support agency guiding principles
- Develop and review systems and processes and seek approval from directors
- Initiate and be actively involved in continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in meetings, workshops and strategic sessions when required
- Seek learning opportunities to develop and maintain own professional development.
Key skills required
- 2 years + experience in fundraising and/or marketing practices – essential
- Exceptional corporate written and interpersonal communication skills – essential
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage several projects simultaneously according to timelines and within budget constraints - essential
- Proven experience managing the production of fundraising and/or marketing materials from design through to publishing - essential
- Experience with supporter acquisition and engagement strategies - desirable
- Experience in planning and execution of best practice digital marketing - desirable
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Experience in the development of fundraising and/or marketing plans
- Skills in software relevant to the area of practice.
