- Full time position (38hrs p.w)
- 1 year contract with possibility of extension
- Commencing 1st Nov 2021 (negotiable)
- Locations: St Ambrose Primary Pottsville (3 days) & Mt St Patrick Primary Murwillumbah (2 days)
Applicants must:
- Applicants must hold a current NSW Working with Children Check
- Have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
Criteria:
- Hold a Degree in Speech Pathology and current membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience in administering assessments, therapy sessions with students, completing progress notes/documentation, developing reports and support letters, correspondence with other professionals e.g. doctors, teachers, other therapists, work colleagues
- Competency with discipline-specific assessments and interventions relevant to young people
- Experience and/or enthusiasm for working in schools, excellent communication skills, flexibility, the ability to work collaboratively with teaching teams, and the ability to engage and relate to students, parents and staff
- Ability to work autonomously with a varied caseload
Award: Educational Services (School) General Staff Award (averaged) – Classification – Speech Therapist. Remuneration dependant on qualification. The applicant is not expected to work school holidays.
