ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Donor Services and Engagement Manager and located at Catholic Mission’s North Sydney Office, the primary responsibility of the person in this position is to substantially increase Catholic Mission’s regular giving program in a manner consistent with our organisation’s values. You will work as part of a collegial team within the Donor Services Function, and be involved in the work of telephone fundraising.

This is an opportunity for a telephone fundraiser to enjoy hands-on implementation of donor care and retention strategies.

ABOUT YOU

This important role requires:

• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Knowledge of and commitment to customer service.
• Ideally some telephone-based fundraising experience.
• Ability to communicate, influence and engage stakeholders towards a rewarding philanthropic path.
• Proficiency in oral English language.
• Team player.
• Good time management – able to independently complete tasks in the time required.
• A proactive, positive ‘can do’ attitude and willing to take the initiative.
• Resilient with an ability to handle rejection professionally.
• Please note that this role may require occasional Saturday work.
