The Tiwi Youth Behaviour Change Program is a pilot to develop an early intervention program for young people starting to use domestic and family violence (DFV). The program will include identifying and delivering culturally appropriate and targeted interventions to young people aged 11-17 to help them understand the impact of their violence, take responsibility for their behaviour, and change their attitudes and behaviours.
The Youth Behaviour Change Coordinator is responsible for the planning, implementation, and oversight of the Tiwi Youth Behaviour Change program, run on the Tiwi Islands, to ensure the program meets its objectives.
This position has a particular focus on working with program outcomes, risk management, evaluation, and reporting. This role will support the program through group facilitation and ensuring program materials are designed appropriately with Tiwi culture.
