The NDIS will provide Australians under the age of 65 with a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable and necessary supports they need. The Scheme takes a lifetime approach, investing in people with disability early to improve their outcomes later in life. The Scheme aims to support people with disability to build skills and capability so they can participate in the community and employment.
Based in Wurrumiyanga, Tiwi Islands, the NDIS Daily Living Coordinator ensures a person-centered approach across all aspects of service delivery and relationship management for CCNT NDIS participants in the Tiwi and Tennant Creek regions. The role is also responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of support services provided by CCNT NDIS Support Workers to ensure program deliverables are met.
