OSHC Educator - Kincumber

About the role

We are now offering OSHC services at Kincumber Public School and we are looking for a supportive, caring and fun-loving OSHC Educator to join our team. The OSHC is open before school from 6:30am to 8:30am and After school from 2:40pm to 6pm Monday to Friday.

This role can be taken as a part-time permanent term role up to 35 hours per week, and you will be required to work at other centres during the vacation period.

Daily Contributions:

  • Understanding and experience with My Time, Our Place Framework.
  • Taking on the position of the responsible person when required.
  • Assisting the Coordinator to plan, implement and evaluate programs.
  • Ensuring a welcoming, safe, hygienic environment, reflective of best practices.
  • Creating a fun and engaging environment through play experiences.
  • Developing positive and supportive relationships with children and families.
  • Ability to form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with school aged children.
  • Current and valid Working With Children Check clearance.
  • Completion of CHCPRT025 "Identify & report children and young people at risk" certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one before starting.
