About the role:

In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with very experienced and capable Finance professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment. The main objective of the role is on accounts payable and accounts receivable processing tasks and enquires. In addition, you will also be involved with month end duties, reconciliations, reporting and ad hoc projects as needed.

Main responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable - process and manage accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner into the Concur invoice system. Ensure coding, GST and authorisation workflows are correct.
  • Accounts Receivable - allocating and posting daily bank receipts and miscellaneous payments, assist with banking duties and following up with customers.
  • Financial Accounting – reconciliation of bank accounts, assist in month-end reporting, journal entries, entering data into ERP system and set up depreciation for month end.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary or Diploma level qualifications in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • Experience in using SAP Concur (preferred but not essential).
  • Minimum 2-3 years financial accounting experience within a commercial environment.
  • Proven experience and expertise in Accounts Payable end to end processing.
  • Strong numeracy, literacy and customer service skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills such as Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Attention to detail, and strong organisation and time management skills.
