What does the role involve?

The Administration Officer will provide a high-level of administrative support to the Advancement Director, Associate Directors and Managers for fundraising initiatives, supporter care, marketing and/or community engagement events. Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Organising and coordinating Advancement meetings & meetings across departments/teams.
  • Supporting the team with booking travel and accommodation, on-boarding new staff, ordering promotional materials and preparing board papers quarterly.
  • Organising and maintaining effective filing of documentation and resources.
  • Arranging for the timely approval and payment of invoices and processing credit card aquittals.

This role will be based in our Mascot office and will work a hybrid model, including two days in the office per week.

Who are we looking for?

For this role, we are seeking a pro-active and interpersonal individual with a mix of the following experience and attributes:

  • Strong administrative and organisation skills, ideally with some previous administrative experience.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across an organisation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders using both written and verbal communication skills.
