Carinya Society is a community-based, not-for-profit disability NGO with a 72 year history of serving the Coburg and surrounding areas. Services include one residential group home, community participation and group-based day services for approximately 100 clients.

Board Director appointments are voluntary positions with an initial term of up to 3 years. There are up to 3 Non-Executive Director positions available.

Knowledge of community based services and/or NDIS and the broader disability sector would be advantageous but not essential.

Individuals with expertise in one or more of: audit, risk, finance, corporate governance, asset management and lived experience of disability would be highly regarded, especially at a senior level.
