Carinity Bunderra, is located in Boonah near Carinity’s Community Centre – Fassifern. At Bunderra, we focus on building confidence, friendships, and a sense of community by providing social activities, support groups, skills training, personal care and respite.

About the role

Carinity Communities – Bunderra has a vacancy for a full-time Client Services Coordinator to oversee disability services and assists people with a disability to get the support they need to live the lives they choose. The services included are day and overnight respite programs, learning and life skills development, community access, and in home support.

The Client Services Coordinator works collaboratively with clients, their families, formal and informal supports, and the NDIS to facilitate person directed planning and service delivery. The role requires availability to work Monday to Friday and ability to do on-call.

What do I need for the role?

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Disability Services or other relevant qualification and demonstrated experience in managing a disability-based service
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, quality framework, trends and issues relating to the disability sector and their implications for service provision
  • Strong understanding of person-directed planning and models of care
  • Demonstrated solid experience in leading and managing staff and effective management of resources
  • A genuine commitment to professional and community services networking and partnership building
