Project Officer - Pharmacist Education

Carers NSW is the peak organisation for carers in NSW. We are a not-for-profit organisation connecting and empowering carers across NSW and improving their quality of life through activities, programs, training and policy advice. We advocate for carers of all ages and circumstances in NSW.

As the Project Officer, Pharmacist Education you will be responsible for working collaboratively with project stakeholders in the development of evidence-based education resources with an aim to build the capability and confidence of pharmacists to identify and support carers, as well as engage with them effectively as partners in care.

This is a part time (2 days per week) contract role (to Jan 25) based in North Sydney.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Tertiary qualifications in health, social sciences, social work or related discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver and promote projects in accordance with delivery scope and timeframes
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and facilitating consultations
  • Demonstrated capacity to produce, or oversee the development of, high quality information and resources
  • Demonstrated understanding of issues experienced by carers
  • Proven ability to build rapport with team members, other organisations and service providers
  • Strong time management and task prioritising skills
  • High level written, oral communication and computer skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment

Salary and Benefits

The full-time salary for this role is $98K + super, which will be prorata for this part time role.
