Carers NSW is the peak organisation for carers in NSW. We are a not-for-profit organisation connecting and empowering carers across NSW and improving their quality of life through activities, programs, training and policy advice. We advocate for carers of all ages and circumstances.

As the Executive Manager Business Development & Innovation, you will be responsible for leading sustainable business growth, forging strategic partnerships, and coordination of grant submissions along working collaboratively with the broader Executive Management team towards the delivery of the strategic plan and priority projects.

This is a 4 day per week contract position until June 2026.

Our ideal candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Qualifications in Business, Social Science, Public Health or other relevant areas
  • At least 5 years management experience including project management, with experience in delivery of business plans and business projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving business change and continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience in business development, grant writing and submissions
  • Ability to write effectively and present complex issues and projects succinctly, logically, and persuasively
  • Strong financial acumen, that supports the successful submission of grant applications
  • Proven experience in developing impactful partnerships and supports business growth
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build relationships.
  • Knowledge of the role of key stakeholders including State and Australian Governments
  • Advanced computer and word processing skills
