Care’s CEO works under the strategic guidance of the Board of Management. They are expected to be a persuasive and passionate communicator with strong interpersonal skills, management experience and a demonstrated capacity to lead the organisation and develop and maintain a positive workplace culture.

Under the strategic direction of the Care Board, the CEO will lead Care’s management team, oversee service delivery across programs, and drive strategic development and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing governance support to the Board, including bi-monthly reporting and ongoing communication of risks and achievements.
  • Leading strategic planning and organisational development aligned with Care’s mission and values.
  • Overseeing financial planning, risk management, and operational compliance.
  • Managing and mentoring a skilled team of Program Directors and support staff.
  • Strengthening Care’s relationships with key stakeholders including government, funding bodies, and community partners.
  • Advocating for clients through policy engagement and informed public commentary.
