You can contribute to making the world a better place for all living beings, while working in Inner city Melbourne, or from home, anywhere in Australia.
Since being founded in 1979, Humane Research Australia has continued to have a significant impact on bringing awareness to governments, researchers, students, corporations and the general public. They pursue all reasonable channels to eliminate animal experimentation and champion the benefits of realistic, scientifically effective alternatives to all forms of animal usage in research and teaching. If animal protection and the advancement of human health are equally important to you, this role will give you a meaningful outlet to support your career with purpose.
This is a pivotal and newly created role to join a small dedicated team to educate the public, institutions and government on effective alternative methods to animal experimentation. Use your skills to design and implement an organisational marketing plan that leads to strong growth in fundraising for this important cause.
Your role will include:
You have a keen understanding of the Australian political system and its legislative processes and you can tell a story that brings people along with you as you campaign for change. You thrive in an environment where taking the initiative and working to deadlines is essential.
This organisation has a commitment to health and safety, as such all employees must already be (or have the willingness to be) triple vaccinated against COVID-19. You will also need to apply for a Working with Children Check if you do not have a current one.
