WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for skilled, highly motivated and values driven people to implement leading-practice community engagement projects, support development and growth, lead new business opportunities and build strong relationships with our clients and their communities.
Experience in a professional services consultancy is strongly preferred, while experience in a deadline driven project delivery environment is a must.

THE ROLE
As a senior member of the Capire team, you will develop and deliver engagement projects and group facilitation, identify and lead new business opportunities, and develop strong client relationships. You will lead and manage projects and support the development of other team members. The primary functions of the role are:
- Design, implement and critically review stakeholder and community engagement strategies and projects with minimal guidance.
- Maintain strong awareness of leading practise and theory including engagement methodologies and group dynamics.
- Manage multiple complex projects on time and to budget.
- Design and deliver engagement activities including facilitating events and workshops.
- Prepare high quality, inclusive and easy to understand communication materials to ensure best engagement outcomes.
- Conduct and guide others in research, data analysis and stakeholder identification.
- Prepare high quality reports.
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities and confidently lead proposal development.
- Grow industry networks and establish connections in relevant client markets.
- Establish and maintain key client relationships.
- Recognise areas for professional development for yourself and others including through mentorship and transferring expertise.
- Be a team player and live our values: to understand, be flexible, bring everyone along and make an impact.
REQUIRED
- Typically, 8-15 years’ experience, including 2-5 years in consulting environment.
- Demonstrated experience working in stakeholder and community engagement and a solid understanding of community engagement frameworks and approaches.
- A degree in urban planning or design, public policy, communications, community development, social sciences or similar.
- A strong understanding of social, environmental, cultural and economic issues that face our communities today.
- A current Victoria Drivers Licence and a proficiency in MS Office suite of software.
