About the role

  • Work closely with people who are supported by the NDIS and living with a psychosocial disability.
  • Build strong working relationships based on trust, respect, healthy boundaries, and psychological safety.
  • Coach individuals to make changes that they find meaningful, one step at a time.
  • Support people to make sense of their NDIS plan, navigate the NDIS and the broader service system, and connect with appropriate services and supports.
  • Coordinate services and supports to build a holistic support system for each person.
  • Provide support through face-to-face appointments and other tasks completed in your own workspace.

ABOUT YOU

To join the Recovery Coach team at Candella, you will need:

  • At least two years’ experience working with people in a mental health or trauma-informed context OR have a minimum Cert IV in Mental Health, Peer Work, or related qualification
  • A valid driver licence and an insured, roadworthy vehicle suitable for transporting someone during a work shift
  • A satisfactory NDIS worker screening check

Due to recent government mandate we will also require evidence of your full COVID vaccination status.
