Based in Subiaco and working within our Palliative and Supportive Care Education (PaSCE) team, we are seeking a Senior Coordinator to lead the Residential Aged Care Excellence in Palliative Care Program (RACEPC).

Your other main responsibilities will include:

  • Under the direction of the PaSCE Manager, coordinating the delivery of the RACEPC National Partnership Agreement (NPA) Program
  • Tracking program activities and reporting on progress
  • Support and enable production of teaching resources, education delivery and technical support of Learning Management components
  • Ensuring key stakeholders are updated on program status and collaboration occurs with relevant stakeholders?
  • Supervising the workflow of the RACEPC stream
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Who are you?

To be successful in this role you will have the following key attributes:

  • Tertiary qualification Health or related fields
  • Experience working in Residential aged care and or palliative care highly desirable
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a project management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level relationship management skills
  • Supervision of staff
  • Experience in building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • High level organisational skills and able to work under pressure with demonstrated ability to lead/work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently as well as demonstrating strong teamwork
  • Ability to influence others to achieve beneficial outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and report writing
  • Current drivers license
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA
  • Positive approach to the workplace

In line with Cancer Council WA policy, WA Government Health Directions and Public Health Orders, Cancer Council WA staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by 1 January 2022. As such, the successful candidate will be requested to provide evidence of their COVID-19 vaccination status prior to commencing in this role.

This position is part-time 0.8FTE and fixed-term until 1 May 2025.
