The opportunity

Working within the Supportive Care division, reporting to the Cancer Support Services Manager; you will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Life Now programs, which includes mind and body courses such as exercise, yoga, mindfulness and meditation provided by Cancer Council WA (CCWA) to people affected by cancer.

Based in Subiaco, this position is part-time (0.7 FTE).

What you’ll be doing

  • Administrative activities to support the development and promotion of Life Now courses.
  • Telephone and email communication with participants, facilitators, stakeholders.
  • Assist the Life Now Coordinator(s) with ensuring successful delivery of the Life Now courses.
  • Organising and processing of invoices for Life Now facilitator and venue fees as required.
  • Data entry for Life Now expressions of interest, registrations, and course attendance.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Represent Cancer Council WA.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in a health-related profession (desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work within a team to plan, implement, evaluate, and report on projects within allocated timeframes
  • Ability to work independently demonstrating drive and initiative
  • Well-developed c skills in the use of Microsoft suite products
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and working with confidential and sensitive information (desirable)
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to contribute to continuous quality improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workload
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA
  • Positive approach to the workplace
