The TAC Learner Driver Mentor Program (L2P) is a state wide program funded by the TAC and managed by VicRoads. The L2P Program assists young people between the ages of 16 – 23 years achieve their mandatory 120 hours of driving before attaining their probationary drivers licence.

Our car is available day and night, 7 days a week for maximum flexibility. Car, insurance and training are provided. Police check, working with children’s check and driver history check is a mandatory requirement.

Volunteer criteria:

  • Meet with your learner driver for a minimum of 1.5 hrs per week.
  • Assist young person in gaining their 120 hours of driving and teach them how to make our roads safer.
  • Build rapport with learner driver and support them throughout their driving experience.
  • Have fun and learn new skills.
