The Cairnmillar Institute is seeking to appoint a Human Resources Officer to join our growing team. This role provides generalist HR support while also driving improvements to our people systems and processes. A key focus will be enhancing recruitment, selection, contracts, and onboarding workflows, with close collaboration with the payroll team to ensure a smooth and integrated experience for new staff.
The successful candidate will be a motivated HR professional with a passion for digital optimisation and people-centred practice. You will contribute across the employee lifecycle, support compliance, and champion process enhancements through our Employment Hero HRIS platform.
Established over 60 years ago, The Cairnmillar Institute is a not-for-profit organisation solely focused on advancing better mental health through education, research, and treatment in psychology, counselling and psychotherapy.
Cairnmillar is now one of the largest trainers of postgraduate psychologists and counsellors in Australia.
In addition to our educational programs, we offer a range of clinical services across four clinic sites (North Melbourne, Hawthorn East, Dandenong, and CBD) and via telehealth.
