- Full Time – up to 38 Hours per week
We are seeking an experienced, positive and motivated leader to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Family and Community Programs, this role is focused on the provision of line management, effective operational leadership and clinical supervision within The Orange Door Barwon - Colac Access Point. This role will oversee the Orange Door Barwon - Colac Access Point as well as the support, mentoring and development of The Orange Door Practitioner team. Within the integrated model this role will also work collaboratively with an integrated approach across the service system maintaining positive relationships with partner agencies both within The Orange Door and externally in the broader service system.
As our ideal candidate you will have:
- A Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification or a willingness to work towards the minimum qualification. https://www.vic.gov.au/mandatory-minimum-qualifications-specialist-family-violence-practitioners
- Expert knowledge and experience working in community services leadership roles including expertise and capability to embed evidence-based, responsive, collaborative practice in the team.
- Knowledge and understanding of the application of relevant frameworks and legislation related to Family Violence and Child wellbeing including the MARAM Framework, Best Interests Case Practice Model, Family Violence Protection Act (2008); Family Violence and Child Information Sharing Schemes, and, the Children, Youth and Families Act (2005).
- Demonstrated experience in working with vulnerable children and young people.
- Demonstrated experience in risk assessment and risk management including experience in working with families with complex needs and risk issues in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Demonstrated cross-sectoral experience in relevant disciplines, including but not limited to a knowledge of the key drivers/causes of family violence, child development, attachment and trauma theories.
- Ability to work collaboratively to drive cultural change including a clear understanding of the culture required to drive innovative practices that enhance integrated practice.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other key internal and external stakeholders to build strong internal and external networks.
- Computer skills in a Windows and Google Drive environment including: work processing, data collection and entry, internet and email.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet required deadlines whilst monitoring performance against targets.
