Exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team at Brisbane Youth Service’s Fortitude Valley clinic!

Brisbane Youth Service are a part-time Clinical Psychologist to join our unique and expanding youth specific medical clinic located at the Fortitude Valley Hub.

The BYS medical clinic provides a youth-focused primary care medical service for vulnerable young people (aged 12-25 years), who often have complex health and social needs, including both diagnosed and unaddressed mental health issues, leading to difficulties navigating health care.

You will have wrap-around support from a dedicated team as you help young people, and their children, address a cross section of clinical disorders including trauma, developmental disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, substance use disorder, anxiety and depression.

Help make a tangible difference in young lives and create new, brighter futures for some of the most vulnerable in our community.

OUR GOALS:

• Conduct assessments for ASD, ADHD, SLD and intellectual disability
• Offer accessible and evidence-based treatment
• Provision of recommendations for accommodations for education, NDIS and DSP applications where appropriate
• An integrated model of care, delivering multi-disciplinary treatment and support to highly complex, disadvantaged and vulnerable young people within BYS’ safe and youth friendly environment.
