We believe in liveable places where people are physically active - that's why we make it easier to ride a bike.
Bicycle Network believes that physical activity & sustainable transport is vital for a happy, healthy community – that’s why we make it easier for everyone to ride a bike. We support and service the needs of nearly 50,000 members, thousands of event participants, and the general bike riding community across Australia.
We operate a network of over 140 secure bicycle parking facilities across Victorian train stations and transport hubs. Using behavioural insights, we encourage Victorians to switch up their transport mode and ride to the station.
We are looking for a graduate from the fields of Urban Planning, Sustainability, Behaviour Change, or related, to help us deliver our Parkiteer program. As part of our Commercial Team, reporting to the Parkiteer Manager, you’ll play a central role in delivering projects that help people ride & break down barriers for Victorians. You will ensure our Parkiteer facilities at transport hubs in Victoria are being maintained and operated smoothly & that we are encouraging people to make sustainable and healthy transport choices through behavioural insights. You will work closely with the Commercial and Behaviour Change Teams, as well as with the wider Bicycle Network team and stakeholders, to move towards a happier, healthier, and less congested community.
You will need to be comfortable planning and delivering projects, as well as delivering front line operations. We are looking for someone that is passionate about sustainable transport and keen to understand people’s needs and the barriers impacting their transport choices.
