We’re looking for a bold, values-driven Chief Development Officer (CDO) to help shape the future of Burnie Works. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can lead strategy, build partnerships, and drive systemic change—while staying grounded in community.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading strategy, organisational development, and systems change initiatives.
- Building and nurturing partnerships across government, philanthropy, and community.
- Supporting governance, compliance, and culturally safe evaluation practices.
- Leading strategic communications and advocacy that amplify community voice.
- Applying frameworks like 2WUMEL to define and measure impact in culturally grounded ways.
- Mentoring senior staff and cultivating a reflective, inclusive team culture.
